Program Manager
Alex Ramey is Program Manager at GCSE. Alex holds Master of Science in global sustainability science from Arizona State University and Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany. Her master’s research explored the socioeconomic dimensions of energy transitions in coal-dependent communities in the US and Germany. She also engaged in projects on climate equity, environmental justice, and sustainability in higher education. Alex holds a BS in Environmental Studies from Roanoke College and has previously worked in outdoor and environmental education.
In her role at GCSE, Alex’s primary responsibility is to support the strategic planning and execution of GCSE programs, communications, and membership activities.
