Brenda Vitisia is the research fellow (volunteer) at GCSE. Her work ranges from international to domestic, with a strong focus on supporting international initiatives and the role of science in environmental decision-making. Brenda is passionate about environmental policy, science diplomacy, sustainable development, and innovative solutions to address environmental challenges. Prior to GCSE, she worked on policy matters for the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kenya to the United Nations Environment Programme and for Cube Hydro Partners. She has provided legal research support in the Penn State Law International Sustainable Development Projects Clinic and Penn State Institute for Energy and the Environment. Brenda earned a Master of Laws from The Pennsylvania State University and Bachelor of Laws from Cardiff University.
