The GCSE Learning Collaborative will build upon themes and discussions from the inaugural Online Learning Series focused on “Indigenous Knowledge & Western Science: Collaboration, Relationship, and Climate Solutions'' that took place from April-June, 2021.

Advancing Understanding Through Collaboration: Learning series participants shared common goals for Indigenous and non-Indigenous shared learning and collaboration.

Topics may include: 

  • Systemic institutional change from local to global scales
  • Integrating Indigenous and non-Indigenous knowledge to advance climate solutions
  • Relationships and collaboration to advance actionable knowledge for decision-making
  • Teaching and curriculum for incorporating Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK)


The Learning Collaborative and all associated events are free and open to the public. Session recordings and resources for the first series are available now.
