Dr. Leah Nichols is the Executive Director of George Mason University’s Institute for a Sustainable Earth, where she works to create connections – locally, globally, and across disciplines – to put Mason’s research and scholarship into action in support of a sustainable world. Dr. Nichols previously worked at the National Science Foundation where she served in integrative roles and contributed to the design and management of agency-wide programs that support transdisciplinary socio-environmental systems science.
