GCSE is an accredited organization and formal partner of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Through this partnership, GCSE is able to offer opportunities to engage in UNEP activities.
Global Environment Outlook
During the 2020-2021 academic year, six students from GCSE Member institutions worked as interns for derivative products of the sixth edition of the Global Environment Outlook (GEO-6), such as GEO-6 for Cities and GEO for Business.
United Nations Environment Assembly
In March 2019, GCSE participated in the 4th United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-4) in Nairobi, Kenya, with a delegation of ten scientists from universities across the United States to take part in the consultations and deliberations by national delegations. Read more.
