What mentors do

Mentoring with EnvironMentors is a structured, rewarding experience designed to fit your schedule and expertise.

Work one-on-one with a high school student to help them design, conduct, and present original environmental research over the course of the academic year.

Guide a research project

Commit to regular check-ins — virtual or in-person — to support your mentee's scientific process, answer questions, and build confidence in their work.

Meet regularly throughout the year

Join students at the annual EnvironMentors National Symposium where they present their research to scientists, educators, and decision-makers nationwide.
